Stumbled on an article how this one person was able to install Server 2012 via Bootcamp then upgrade to Server 2016. While researching I found that the only way to accomplish this was to install Virtual Box on MacOS. Been trying to find other ways to reduce energy, noise and heat while keeping a homelab. Also have a Dell R710 on a network rack that tends to be noisy, produces heat and takes a bit of juice to run.
